Chairman of the Aceh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Muhammad Iqbal Piyeung questioned the reason for the revocation of the construction of two races of the Sigli-Lhokseumawe-Langsa toll road.

"We are very sorry, Kadin Aceh is also concerned that the Sigli-Lhokseumawe-Langsa toll road construction project has been revoked by the central government," said Muhammad Iqbal Piyeung (7/10/2023).

According to Muhammad Iqbal, the Government's decision to revoke the National Strategic Project (PSN) has a huge impact on Aceh's future economy.

"This toll road is a long-term need to improve the regional economy (Aceh)," said Iqbal.

Therefore, Kadin Aceh questioned why the toll road project could be revoked by the Aceh Government. Muhammad Iqbal said the toll road was one of the infrastructures needed for the benefit of Aceh's economic growth.

"The Acting Governor of Aceh must question the Central Government why the PSN was revoked, this must be fought for," he said.

Muhammad Iqbal asked the Central Government not to discriminate in the development of Aceh Province for the direction of Aceh's better economic growth.
