Chairman of Kadin Indonesia 2021-2026, Arsjad Rasjid attended the Inauguration of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024 - 2029 at the MPR/DPR Building in Senayan.

A few days earlier, in front of hundreds of millennial and Gen Z community members, Arsjad firmly stated that the government's economic targets could be achieved.

The target can be achieved by focusing on several strategies, including downstreaming, food and energy self-sufficiency. These strategies are in line with President Prabowo Subianto's focus, which was conveyed in his speech after the inauguration at the MPR/DPR building.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto said that in the midst of global economic uncertainty, Indonesia should not depend on other countries, especially in the energy sector. With the existing natural potential, Indonesia should be able to have energy independence.

‘Other countries have to think about their own interests, if something goes wrong it is difficult for us to get energy sources from other countries. Therefore, we must be self-sufficient in energy and we are able to be self-sufficient in energy,’ Prabowo said during the Inauguration of the President and Vice President for the 2024-2029 Period at the MPR Building on Sunday (20/10/2024).
