The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) has responded to the announcement of the names of ministers and deputy ministers in the Prabowo Subiyanto administration for the 2024-2029 period.
As is known, Prabowo formed the Merah Putih Cabinet consisting of 48 ministers, 56 deputy ministers, and 5 heads of institutions. At first glance, several ministers in economic-related fields are still filled with names from the previous government.
Kadin Deputy Chairperson for Organisation, Legal and Communications Yukki Nugrahawan Hanafi said the ministers who have been appointed in the economic sector are qualified figures with good track records.
‘Of course, we hope that the presence of the elected Ministers can add confidence to the business world that the direction of economic policy will remain stable and focus on recovery and long-term growth,’ said Yukki, Monday (21/10).
He also expressed his hope that all ministries can collaborate with stakeholders including entrepreneurs in realising a Golden Indonesia and economic growth of 8% as targeted by President Prabowo Subianto.
